Q: What is Poppy Seed Wash?

A: It is a beverage made with water and opium poppy seeds (Papaver Somniferum). It is also known as poppy seed tea.

Q: Why do People Drink Poppy Seed Wash?

A: - Pain relief
- Sleep aid
- Relaxant / Sedative
- Anxiety relief
- Opioid rotation
- Coming off other Opioids

Q: What kinds of chemically similar drugs can Poppy Seed Wash rotate with or replace?

A: Opiates: morphine, diacetylmorphine (heroin), codeine.

Opioids: (opiates above), hydrocodone (lortab, norco, vicodin), oxycodone (percocet, oxycontin), demerol, fentanyl, buprenorphine (suboxone subutex), methadone.

Q: How many bottles are needed?

A: It depends on existing opioid tolerance. One bottle is sufficient for many while others with a heavy tolerance may require a few bottles. Each bottle has 4+ washes.

Q: Is Poppy Seed Tea Legal?

A: Yes, These are the same species of seeds (Papaver Somniferum) you would find in the grocery store. However, all other parts of the plant are considered a controlled substance.

Q: What are the difference between these poppy seeds and the ones you would find at the grocery store?

A: Our seeds are all natural, unwashed, and organic. The seeds at the store are usually prewashed, not organic and x-rayed (irradiated so they won't grow)

Q: How do I prepare Poppy Seed Wash?

A: 1. Remove cap, fill one inch above poppy seed line with water. (Hot tap water works best, cold water ok, no boiling!)
2. Return cap and shake for a few minutes.
3. Slightly unscrew cap.
4. Turn upside down and squeeze/strain water out into a cup.
5. Turn right side up and tap bottom of bottle down on a firm surface to settle seeds out of the cap.
6. Remove cap completely, rinse seeds out of cap threading to ensure a tight seal for the next wash.
7. Repeat steps 1-6. The first 3 washes will remove most opium residue, but traces will always remain.
8. Wet seeds spoil within a few hours. Dispose, or empty on a cooking sheet to dry for future cooking.

Q: Will washing poppy seeds remove all of the opiate traces?

A: No. Although it will remove most of it, traces will remain no matter how many times you wash, so you will still get a little something even after many washes

Q: Does poppy seed tea have the potential for dependence?

A: Yes. Although the effects of poppy tea are not as compulsion-inducing as smoked, snorted, or injected opioids, it is certainly possible to become dependent, especially if used every day.

Q: What side effects are possible?

A: Poppy seed tea has many of the same possible side effects that other opioids have including: drowsiness, dehydration respiratory depression, constipation and nausea.
